1.Air Pressure Adjustment (Knob Below the Gun Handle)

Recommended Value: 0.45 - 0.5 MPa (Approximately 4.5 - 5 bar), air should be filtered through an air compressor connected to an oil-water separator.

Impact: Low air pressure results in rough atomization (orange peel effect on the paint surface), while high pressure leads to excessive splashing and waste of paint. 

2.Paint Output Adjustment (Large Knob at the Bottom of the Gun Body)

Adjustment Method: Turn clockwise to reduce paint output (suitable for thin coatings/topcoats), turn counterclockwise to increase paint output (suitable for thick coatings/primer). It is initially recommended to tighten the knob and then turn it back 2.5 turns.

Applicable Scenarios:

Primer: Large paint output (turn the knob back 3-4 turns), paired with a large nozzle (≥1.5mm);

Topcoat: Small paint output (turn back 2-2.5 turns), paired with a small nozzle (1.0-1.3mm). 

3.Fog width adjustment (knob at the top of the gun body)

Mode switching: Turning clockwise to the end results in a circular fog pattern (fine point spraying), and turning counterclockwise adjusts to a fan-shaped fog pattern (for large area coverage).

Width control: Adjust the fan width according to the size of the workpiece, and overlap the spraying area by 1/2 to 2/3 to avoid missed spraying. 

II. Standard Operating Procedures

1.Pre-spray Preparation

Paint Treatment: Add thinner in proportion (viscosity controlled at 17-24 seconds, DIN4 cup test), and filter impurities.

Spray Gun Test: Test spray with compressed air without paint to check if the airflow is stable. 

2.Spray Painting Operation Specifications

Distance: Keep the gun nozzle 20 cm away from the workpiece and move at a 90° angle to the surface.

Speed: Move at a constant speed (about 30 cm/s). Moving too fast will result in a thin and rough paint film, while moving too slow will cause sagging.

Sequence: Start with corners and edges, then flat surfaces; start with difficult areas and then easy ones. Wait 10 to 15 minutes between each coat (spray the next layer when the previous one is touch-dry). 

3.Post-Use Cleaning

Immediate Cleaning: Empty the remaining paint → Add thinner and spray until clear → Focus on unclogging the nozzle and air cap (Do not use metal needles; use the original factory cleaning needle).

Anti-Clogging Measures: When pausing work, immerse the gun tip in solvent to prevent drying and solidification, but do not submerge the entire gun (to avoid corrosion of the sealing ring). 

III. Key Points for Maintenance and Care

1.Regular Lubrication: Apply special lubricating oil to the needle valve and sealing ring to ensure smooth sliding.

2.Component Inspection: Check the sealing performance of the needle valve and gasket monthly. Replace them immediately if there is any leakage. Apply anti-rust oil to the threads of the air cap.

3.Storage Requirements: After cleaning, store in a dry place. Avoid contact with acidic or alkaline substances. When disassembling, follow the sequence (first the needle, then the air cap, and finally the nozzle).
